IN A NUTSHELL

Based on the West Coast — Los Angeles and the PNW to be exact — I've covered the food, travel, entertainment and lifestyle beat for almost 20 years. In that time I've helped launch new digital products (Eater LA, Tasting Table, LA.com), I was the editor and food columnist for city-specific outlets (Zagat LA, Angeleno magazine), and I've written for a slew of national, local and regional publications (The Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles magazine, Eater, The Seattle Times, LAist, Taste, Bon Appetit among others). There's been some TV and lots of radio, and I even had a video series at one point. I'll go anywhere for a good story — Iceland, Bordeaux, Germany, Tokyo and San Sebastián are just a few favorites — and thrill in making discoveries at home. Utilizing that editorial experience, I also help brands and products in the hospitality and lifestyle spheres build strong content strategies. This includes but is not limited to: Create and implement editorial calendars and guidelines; manage writers and copy; and tell stories through smart, compelling and clear copywriting.
